Job summary

QCS Qatar is seeking a Sr Cloud, Container & Hardware Architect to lead enterprise infrastructure architecture, cloud transformation initiatives, and mission-critical platform operations in Doha. The role requires deep virtualization, container platforms, and large-scale data center experience across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on Nutanix HCI (AHV) experience.
• Strong VMware vSphere/NSX/vSAN expertise.
• Proven Kubernetes and OpenShift proficiency.
• Experience designing multi-cloud (AWS/Azure) architectures.
• Expertise in data center design, operations, and hybrid cloud.
• Background in infrastructure automation and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise infrastructure architecture across cloud, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Develop hybrid cloud strategies and oversee cloud transformation initiatives.
• Architect and manage Nutanix HCI/AHV environments.
• Design/maintain VMware vSphere, NSX, vSAN platforms.
• Lead Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and operations.
• Define automation frameworks using modern provisioning/orchestration tools.
• Ensure high availability, security, scalability for enterprise infra.
• Provide leadership for data center modernization and platform optimization.
• Lead troubleshooting, platform recovery, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
• Develop infrastructure standards, architecture docs, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
