Minimum Requirements
Overseas Hiring :
- Require only international candidates currently outside of Qatar.
- Must be fluent in English. Bilingual candidates preferred (Arabic and English).
Education :
- Master's degree in clinical psychology.
Licensing :
- Must hold a valid home-country license.
- Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar.
Essential Experience :
- 6+ Years in Clinical Psychology field (with experience in supervised training in both inpatient / outpatient settings).
- Specialize in CBT, Basic DBT, Super specialty in CAMHS, Forensics or Old Age, Psychological Trauma care.
Specification
The Senior Clinical Psychology Specialist provides expert-level psychological services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
The role involves delivering specialized care in areas such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS), forensics, geriatrics, psychological trauma, and more.
This position combines clinical excellence with mentorship responsibilities, supporting the mental health division in advancing patient-centered, evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions
- Deliver specialized care in CAMHS, trauma recovery, forensics, or geriatric mental health
- Apply evidence-based treatments, including CBT and basic DBT, across diverse populations
- Contribute to treatment planning, multidisciplinary collaboration, and case review
- Supervise or mentor junior clinical staff as required
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and psychological service development
- Engage in continuing education and contribute to clinical knowledge-sharing
