Ably Resources Ltd. in Qatar is seeking an experienced Category Specialist to lead the development and administration of long-term supply agreements for drilling equipment or related services.

You will manage the agreement lifecycle to ensure availability, cost control and compliance with ethics, quality, safety and sustainability. Formación

• Degree in Engineering, SCM, Business or related field.
• At least 10 years in strategic procurement and long-term agreements.
• Experience in oil and gas procurement is preferred.
• Knowledge of international standards for oilfield equipment.
• Experience establishing and administering long-term supply agreements.
• Understanding of contract strategies, project management and financial implications.
• Skilled in tendering, commercial evaluation and problem solving.
• Fluent English; proficient in Word/Excel; SAP experience required.
• Membership of an international supply chain institution is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and administer long-term supply agreements from planning to close-out.
• Analyse spend and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage agreement lifecycles balancing cost, availability and delivery.
• Develop category risk profiles and contract strategies.
