Job summary

The Ned Doha is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager to attract, engage, and hire talented individuals who will bring our hospitality experience to life. You will partner with department leaders to build a diverse candidate slate and improve the candidate experience.

In this role you will manage sourcing strategies, coordinate interviews, and ensure timely offers while upholding The Ned Doha's standards of service and hospitality. This position is based in Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Senior Sous Chef, Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef.
• Ensure uniform cleanliness and personal hygiene standards.
• Compile the daily mise en place.
• Promote effective teamwork.
• Prepare meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables.
• Cook all food items as requested.
• Prepare attractive food displays if required.
• Receive, prepare and cook any orders.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen areas, including equipment and tools to Health & Safety standards.
• Report any potential health or hygiene hazards.
• Ensure proper handling of all food items per health and hygiene procedures.
• Place food orders as required for the daily production.
• Ensure efficient stock rotation for any foods produced.
• Manage Duty Roaster in the absence of Head Chef.
• Coordinate with BOH Manager or Ass. Manager for Kitchen utensils and plates.
• Training New Staff For kitchen operation, recipes.
• Support other kitchen operation if its required.
• Cut, trim, bone, and grind beef, pork, lamb, and poultry.
• Weigh, wrap, label, and price meat products for attractive counter displays.
• Monitor stock levels and inspect deliveries for quality and freshness.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
• To attend or conduct trainings.
• To fill out documentation as required per Safe and Sound standards.
• To be flexible with regard to external duties such as special events, promotions and demonstrations
• To carry out any other reasonable request as directed by your manager.
