This strategic role translates complex business and security requirements into governance-driven architectures, collaborating with management, security, development, presales, Microsoft, and technology partners to strengthen cloud delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with 3+ years Azure architecture and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field.
• Experience designing secure, scalable Azure environments for enterprise or government clients.
• Strong knowledge of Azure governance, security, identity, networking, resilience, and operational readiness.
• Experience with Landing Zones, IaC, and DevOps practices.
• Experience documenting architecture, standards, implementation guidance, and handover requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Azure certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Solution Architect to help shape how Ideal Solutions designs, delivers, and scales secure cloud solutions across enterprise and government environments.

This is a strategic technical role for someone who can look beyond individual Azure services and translate complex business, technical, security, and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and well-governed cloud architectures. You'll work closely with management, infrastructure and security teams, software development, project management, presales, Microsoft, and technology partners to support Azure opportunities and projects while strengthening our cloud architecture and delivery capabilities.

What you'll be driving:

• Design secure, scalable, and well-governed Microsoft Azure solutions for enterprise and government clients.
• Establish and enhance Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, subscription structures, policies, RBAC, and environment standards.
• Design secure identity, access, networking, and connectivity architectures while ensuring security, resilience, auditability, and compliance.
• Lead or support Azure deployments using Infrastructure as Code and controlled DevOps practices.
• Define architecture requirements for monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, resilience, and operational readiness.
• Support architecture decisions across applications, integrations, data, analytics, and AI-related workloads where applicable.
• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, RFP/RFI reviews, architecture discussions, and solution positioning.
• Review technical deliverables, identify risks, and ensure solutions meet architectural and production-readiness standards.
• Strengthen internal Azure capabilities through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

You're an experienced Azure professional who combines strong architectural thinking with practical technical expertise.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure architecture and implementation.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and well-governed Azure environments, preferably for enterprise or government clients.
• Strong knowledge of Azure governance, security, identity, networking, resilience, and operational readiness.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.
• Experience preparing architecture documentation, technical standards, implementation guidance, and operational handover requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in client-facing technical workshops, architecture discussions, RFP/RFI reviews, and solution positioning is highly valuable.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are an advantage.
