Job summary
Black & Grey HR is recruiting an Audio Visual (AV) Commissioning Engineer in Doha, Qatar, to commission, test, calibrate, and integrate AV systems for optimal performance and project delivery.
The role requires 5–8 years of AV commissioning or similar technical experience, with hands-on calibration of audio, video, DSPs, displays, projectors, and conferencing devices. CTS or related AV certifications are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years in AV commissioning or system integration.
- Strong knowledge of professional AV systems, including audio, video, control, networking.
- Hands-on experience with amplifiers, DSPs, displays, projectors, cameras, and conferencing solutions.
- CTS or AV certifications are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Commission, test, calibrate, and integrate AV systems.
- Configure and optimize integrated audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
- Perform comprehensive system testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution.
- Calibrate equipment including speakers, DSPs, displays, projectors, cameras, and conferencing devices.
- Integrate AV control systems and fine-tune user interfaces.
- Verify system functionality against specs and client requirements.
- Prepare commissioning documentation and handover reports.
- Provide end-user training and on-site support.
