Job summary

Employment is seeking a Senior Android Developer to lead our enterprise mobile suite in Doha. You will drive a 100% Jetpack Compose architecture, delivering edge-to-edge UI for foldables and desktop windowing.

You’ll implement Kotlin Multiplatform to share core logic, integrate on-device AI, and ensure offline-first reliability with Room and WorkManager for zero downtime in field operations. Strong testing with JUnit 5 and Espresso is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of native Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow expertise.
• Proficient with declarative UI, MVVM/MVI, and Material 3.
• Experience with Identity services (OpenID/OAuth2) and biometrics.
• Knowledge of Window Size Classes for tablets and foldables.
• Testing with JUnit 5, Espresso, and KMP-compatible tests.

As our Senior Android Developer, you will lead the evolution of our enterprise mobile suite. You will move beyond simple CRUD apps into high-performance, modularized systems that leverage the latest Android 16/17 capabilities and adaptive layouts for the next generation of hardware. What you’ll do:

• Modern UI Development: Lead our transition to a 100% Jetpack Compose architecture, ensuring "Edge-to-Edge" compliance and support for foldable/large-screen desktop windowing.
• Architecture & Logic Sharing: Implement Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to share core business logic across platforms while maintaining a high-fidelity native Android experience.
• On-Device Intelligence: Integrate local LLMs and AI features using Gemini Nano and AICore for private, low-latency enterprise data processing.
• Enterprise Reliability: Architect "Offline-First" synchronization using Room and Work Manager to ensure zero downtime for field operations.
• Performance Tuning: Use Baseline Profiles and Macrobenchmarking to ensure our apps are the fastest in the industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Native Experience: command of Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• The Compose Mindset: Deep experience with declarative UI, state management (MVI/MVVM), and Material 3 Expressive components.
• Enterprise Security: Proven experience with Identity Services (Open ID/OAuth2), biometrics, and hardware-backed keystore encryption.
