Job summary

JS Talent Hub is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for a market-leading banking and financial services client in Doha. You will lead the design, development and deployment of agentic AI and generative AI solutions in a highly regulated environment.

You will architect AI platforms using RAG, vector databases, embeddings and knowledge retrieval, and design scalable AI solutions across Azure and/or GCP with Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including AI/ML.
• Experience delivering AI solutions into production.
• Expert in AI architecture, cloud engineering and enterprise integration.
• Banking or financial services experience is mandatory.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Agentic AI, LLM and multi-agent solutions.

Our client is a market-leading banking and financial services organisation investing in advanced AI and digital transformation. We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of enterprise-grade Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions. This role combines hands‑on engineering, cloud architecture and technical leadership within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Agentic AI, LLM and multi‑agent solutions.
• Architect AI platforms using RAG, vector databases, embeddings and knowledge retrieval.
• Design scalable AI solutions across Azure and/or GCP, including Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Develop production‑grade AI services using Python, APIs, microservices and Kafka.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance across AI engineering initiatives.

Technical Skills:

• Expert Python with strong software engineering and API development experience.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and MLOps.
• Strong experience with Kafka, Spark, SQL, Git, CI/CD and model monitoring.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in AI/ML.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production.
• Strong experience in AI architecture, cloud engineering and enterprise integration.
• Banking or financial services experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
