Job summary

Black Tulip Flowers LLC in Qatar seeks a Senior Agricultural Engineer to lead branch operations, manage teams of engineers, horticulturists, and technicians, and oversee indoor/outdoor plant programs for diverse projects.

You will drive design, BOQs, tendering, cost control, and client coordination from site surveys to handover, ensuring quality, budgets, and timely delivery across commercial and residential landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Landscape Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of landscaping, horticulture, irrigation, or related contracting experience.
• Experience in branch/project management or senior technical/commercial roles.
• Strong knowledge of indoor/outdoor plants, irrigation, and landscape construction.
• Proficiency in design, BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, and tendering.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch day-to-day operations and performance.
• Lead engineers, horticulturists, supervisors, technicians, and project teams.
• Oversee indoor/outdoor plant operations and landscape installations.
• Develop plant solutions for indoor environments and various spaces.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor budgets, progress, quality, and profitability.
• Identify cost optimization and operational improvements.
