FamilyFirst Qatar is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. You will oversee financial operations, prepare reports, and provide strategic guidance to management in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years of experience, and strong MS Office skills; CPA is a plus. The role offers full-time commitment with potential flexibility for part-time or remote work based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
• Perform financial forecasting and risk analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, local laws, and regulations.
• Participate in budgeting processes and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
• Communicate financial information to management and other departments as needed.
