Job summary

Flip retail in Doha seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks, assist in month-end closings, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and local regulations. You will oversee accounts payable, reconciliations, and reporting to support management decisions.

The role requires a solid background in contracting firms or audit, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in Oracle and MS Office. This is a permanent on-site position based in QA-QA-Doha.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as an accountant in contracting firms or 3 years as auditor.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Aid in balance sheets, earnings statements and other financial statements.
• Prepare and send weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist senior accountants in monthly/yearly closings.
• Review expenditures, payroll documents, and workforce allocation as assigned.
• Maintain accounts and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
