Job summary

iHorizons, headquartered in Qatar, seeks an experienced Accountant to manage monthly financial statements, general ledger activities, and reconciliations. The role supports audit preparations, financial reporting, and consolidation tasks within a dynamic finance team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least five years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and financial analysis skills. This position is based on site in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience with general ledger and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile accounts and journal entries.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely salaries by accountants.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Maintain balance sheet schedules and review payables.
