Job summary

Qatar Living, a leader in Media, Advertising & PR, seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee daily financial operations, manage planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting under the Finance Director. The role emphasizes strong IFRS compliance, month-end close, and robust internal controls.

You will supervise AP/AR, maintain GL, coordinate audits, and provide management with actionable insights to support growth.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of accounting and financial operations experience.
• Audit experience is preferred.
• Strong expertise in D365 Finance & Operations.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and reporting requirements.
• High ownership and accountability and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full ownership of General Ledger and Chart of accounts; review journal entries.
• Manage monthly closing timeline and ensure accruals/deferrals.
• Prepare and present financial statements and variance analyses.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Oversee cash flow management and liquidity planning.
• Support internal and external audits and strengthen internal controls.
