Job description

SECONDARY GEOGRAPHY TEACHER - QATAR - IMMEDIATE
Someone with IB/AP/IGCSE/A level would be great. Department leading experience would be a bonus.

This is a Doha based IB international school.

The successful candidate will have the following essential qualities:
● Experience teaching IB Diploma Higher Level IDEAL
● Student focused and a passion for working with both middle school aged andhigh school students;
● A collaborative style
● A commitment to continuous improvement;
● A commitment to student learning, wellbeing and safeguarding.

The following qualities would be an advantage:
● MYP teaching experience
● MYP/DP training
● Experience within an international school setting

In line with the Ministry of Education's requirements for this position, the candidate must possess the following:
● A Bachelor’s Degree in Subject
● A teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / Teaching Licence)
● No more than 49 years of age in at the point of joining the school
