Job summary

Starlink Qatar is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant (Procurement/Materials Management) to optimize procurement and sourcing within SAP environments. You will configure MM, manage P2P cycles, and ensure seamless integration with Finance, SD, and WM across SAP S/4HANA.

Collaboration with stakeholders and ongoing enhancements are key to this role. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SAP MM, strong Procure-to-Pay expertise, and experience with SAP Ariba integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management with focus on procurement.
• Strong experience in Procure-to-Pay processes and vendor management.
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement.
• Strong understanding of integration with Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Warehouse Management modules.
• Experience working with SAP Ariba integration is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Exposure to enterprise procurement transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Materials Management with focus on procurement and sourcing.
• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Support vendor management processes including vendor master data, sourcing, and contract management.
• Ensure seamless integration of Materials Management with Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Warehouse Management modules.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement functionality and enhancements.
• Assist in SAP Ariba integration and related procurement workflows.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide production support and resolve procurement-related system issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, enhancements, and data migration.
• Prepare functional documentation and conduct user training sessions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and sourcing processes.
