Jumboqatar is looking for an experienced Cash Accounting Manager to oversee daily operations and elevate team performance. You will mentor members, enforce accounting principles, and collaborate across Finance and Shared Service areas to improve processes. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the cash accounting team

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

Partner with groups across the Finance and Shared Service areas to identify and remediate process inefficiencies that are causing a high number of reconciling items

Prepare/review periodic reporting to management on the status of cash clearing and process improvement initiatives

Perform reconciliation of the cash accounts to identify discrepancies between the bank and general ledger balances

Perform ad hoc analysis on reconciling items, working with other areas to identify and resolve the issue

Record monthly and non-recurring general ledger entries to remediate discrepancies between the bank and general ledger balance
