The job of a Sales Lead is responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing the sales process from initial contact through to close. They play a vital role in developing relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and advising them on the most suitable products and services to achieve sales quotas. They also support the management team by offering insight, enforcing the policies they create, and completing tasks assigned by the managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify sales leads and develop new business opportunities
  2. Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to stay updated with industry developments
  3. Communicate sales operations requirements in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management
  4. Follow up on agreements and tenders’ submissions related to his specialty
  5. Prepare quotations and feasibility studies
  6. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
  7. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
  8. Provide product support and training to customers as required
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
  10. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant data as required
  11. Review receivables & payables regularly and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely collection of revenues and payment
  12. Ensure product inventory related is updated by closely monitoring inventory report through supply chain data and customer service
  13. Use customer satisfaction and complaints data from the quality assurance to gain insights to enable sound business decision making and maintain high level of client satisfaction
  14. Monitor supplier performance evaluation and coordinate further mitigation plans
  15. Coordinate with all parties including the customer service and project team for a project related to their department until completion
  16. Ensure that the customer is satisfied with our equipment and service after delivery
  17. Prepare and execute yearly forecast & strategy to increase revenue for the company and suppliers
  18. Provide inputs into long term plans of the company by understanding changes in the industry dynamics both local & worldwide
  19. Monitor and prepare technical and commercial proposals & offers
  20. Analyze market trends, new product worthiness, and formulate strategies for team leads to maintain a high performance environment
  21. Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and provide reports to the business unit manager
  22. Conduct competitive quality analysis on products being promoted
  23. Analyze brand performances for negotiations with suppliers for price, credit & other commercial terms
  24. Understand and enforce company/departmental policies & procedures
  25. Discuss upcoming projects, opportunities, sales & ways to achieve growth
  26. Identify needs and improvement opportunities and provide information to Managers or Suppliers to facilitate change or improvement
  27. Provide recommendations for product promotions, special offers & projects
Skills

JOB REQUIREMENT

  1. Masters is preferred but not mandatory
  2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience handling similar product range and specialties
  3. Language and proficiency: Fluent in both English and Arabic
  4. Computer proficiency level required: Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite
  5. Driving: Valid GCC driving license required
  6. University Degree with a medical background for example, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Nursing, Science, Doctor of Medicine, Business
