Job summary

Rosewood Doha in Qatar seeks a dedicated Residences Attendant to welcome residents and guests at the main entrance, assist with luggage, and coordinate with the Residences Butler team for smooth check-in and check-out experiences.

You will engage with residents in the lobby, understand preferences, support deliveries, and help with organizing spaces while upholding Rosewood’s standards and confidentiality. Flexibility with hours and proactive service are valued for a meaningful career here.

Responsibilities

• Arrival & Departure: Welcome residents and guests at the main entrance and assist with luggage handling and deliveries.
• Resident Support & Service: Help with deliveries, keep Unifocus up-to-date on jobs, assist with organizing spaces and cover the Residences Butler reception when needed.
• Operational & Communication Support: Link residents with Butlers and other departments, communicate requests promptly and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintenance, Cleanliness & Safety: Keep areas clean and report issues, follow health, safety and security protocols.
• Guest Engagement and Brand Ambassadorship: Be a proactive brand ambassador, engage residents, and promote hotel services.
• General Responsibilities: Perform duties with accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and represent the Rosewood brand.

Your Role:

Arrival & Departure:

• Welcome residents and guests warmly at the main entrance.
• Assist with luggage handling, loading/unloading vehicles, and delivering belongings to or from the residences always in a timely manner.
• Offer assistance with moving items in or out of residences during relocations, ensuring accurate recording and tagging of all items for proper control and accountability.
• Open entrance doors and greet all arriving and departing residents courteously.
• Coordinate with the Residences Butler team for smooth check-in and check-out experiences.

Resident Support & Service:

• Assist with deliveries including parcels, groceries, and bottled water to residents’ homes.
• Keep track in Unifocus with all jobs assigned and completed to ensure are resolved in a timely manner.
• Support residents with moving small items or organizing their space upon request.
• Cover the Residences Butler reception area when needed, assisting with resident inquiries and calls.
• Engage with residents in the lobby, acting as an ambassador by maintaining a strong presence and warm communication.
• Collect preferences from the Residents and communicate the same with the Residences Butler for recording purposes.
• Participate in the Daily Calling and in the Handover in order to know what is happening and the follow ups that need to be done.
• Keep an up-to-date agenda and happenings in the Residences such as events, activities etc…
• Provide the hotel tour to the residents and escort them to the different areas of the hotel.
• Understand resident preferences and promote services offered within the Residences and the hotel.
• Understand residents’ routines and habits and being proactive on service delivery.
• Assist during site inspections, offering a warm welcome to visitors and serving welcome drinks in coordination with the Butler team.

Operational & Communication Support:

• Serve as the link between residents, Butlers, and other operational departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Communicate promptly any resident requests or issues to the relevant team member.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with residents and colleagues.
• Participate actively in departmental briefings and support teamwork through collaboration and flexibility.

Maintenance, Cleanliness & Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues immediately.
• Follow up to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols at all times.

Guest Engagement and Brand Ambassadorship:

• Exhibit an engaging and professional demeanor, ensuring residents feel recognized and valued.
• Support the Residences Butler and Supervisor in enhancing the sense of community within the Residences.
• Be attentive to residents’ needs, anticipate requirements, and deliver service in accordance with Rosewood’s standards.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform duties with accuracy, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
• Work cohesively and effectively as part of the Residences team.
• Uphold Rosewood’s grooming and appearance standards at all times.
