Job summary

PALFINGER MARINE in Qatar is seeking a Rope Access Coating Inspector to support marine and offshore projects. You will perform coating inspections at height, ensure compliance with ITP stages, and prepare final painting reports.

Ideal candidates have IRATA certification, NACE II / B GAS level 2 / FROSIO I Corr II or equivalent, a diploma, and at least 5 years in oil and gas. Strong analytical and reporting skills are essential. Competitive compensation and medical insurance are offered.

Qualifications

• IRATA certification is required for height access work.
• Possess NACE-II/B GAS level 2/FROSIO/I Corr level-2 or equivalent.
• Completed minimum diploma-level education.
• Minimum 5 years of verified oil & gas experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (forecasting, budgeting).

Responsibilities

• Independently handle coating inspections at height.
• Ensure workmanship meets ITP stages and project specs.
• Raise inspection requests for ITP witness points after activities.
• Prepare final painting reports upon completion and approval.
• Update daily progress with the client and document surveys.

We are currently seeking a skilled Rope Access Coating Inspector to support our marine and offshore operations in Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for executing coating inspection tasks at height and ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications. You will play a key role in upholding quality and safety while contributing to the successful delivery of our projects in the region.

Your Task And Responsibilities

• Independently handle painting campaigns
• Ensure workmanship and quality of work according to approved ITP stages
• Raise requests for inspection for all ITP witness and hold points upon completion of inspection activities
• Prepare final painting reports upon completion of painting work and final inspection approval
• Update daily work progress with the client
• Conduct surveys to identify potential jobs.

Your Qualifications

• IRATA certified.
• Shall possess NACE-II/B GAS level 2/FROSIO/I Corr level-2 or equivalent.
• Completed minimum diploma-level education.
• Minimum 5 years of verified experience in the oil and gas industry in a similar capacity
• Good analytical and reporting skills (e.g., forecasting, budgeting).
