Qualifications

Job description

(SENIOR) PROJECT ENGINEERS

Responsible for management, monitoring and supervising of assigned projects in a specific area, ensuring completion to quality, budget and schedule. Manages day-to-day operational and contract aspects of multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing feedback regarding project progress, deviations, changes and ensuring projects are delivered to Ashghal Standards
• Handover of site, pre-contract meeting and RO’s and approvals to the contractor
• Review and approval of project control system to measure progress and performance
• Monitoring traffic diversions and ensuring effectiveness and safety

Mandatory requirements:

• University degree in civil engineering from a recognized university
• Proficient in English and Arabic, written and spoken
• Minimum 12 years of experience in roads engineering

Desirable requirements:

• Chartered engineer status from a recognized institution
• Experience in administration of consultant and contractor contracts
• Strong communication and leadership skills
