Job summary

A leading global engineering firm is seeking a Rigging Draftsman in Qatar for a 3-month contract. The role involves preparing lifting plans and structural drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with engineers for lifting activities. Candidates should have 4–5 years of drafting experience, particularly in heavy lifting projects, along with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of rigging techniques.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years’ experience in drafting, preferably in construction/oil & gas/heavy lifting projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Structural) with proven lifting plan preparation.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment and rigging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lifting plans (Critical & Standard) and structural drawings.
• Interpret engineering sketches and load charts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and lifting procedures.
• Revise drawings based on engineering inputs.
• Coordinate with engineers for lifting activities.

Hiring Rigging draftsman

Contract Duration: 3 Months & Ext

Salary:- TBD

Working Hrs: 10 Hrs a day

Working Days: 6 Days a week

Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Drafting (engineering background preferred).
• 4–5 years’ experience in drafting, preferably in construction / oil & gas / heavy lifting projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Structural) with proven lifting plan preparation.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lifting plans (Critical & Standard) and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret engineering sketches, load charts, and lifting procedure to create practical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, rigging requirements, and project lifting procedures.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering inputs and site requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams for smooth execution of lifting activities.
