Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Rigs & Stimulation Vessels Inspection Specialist to lead technical inspections and readiness assessments for drilling rigs and well stimulation vessels, ensuring regulatory compliance, equipment integrity, and certification validity prior to mobilization and during operations.

The role requires a strong background in API/ISO/ASME standards, 10+ years in oil and gas, offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET) preferred, and proven ability to review drawings,

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, Petroleum, or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with drilling/workover rigs and stimulation vessels is essential.
• Offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of rigs and stimulation vessels, including pre-mobilization, readiness, and ad-hoc checks.
• Verify equipment certifications, maintenance records, NDT reports, calibration records, and pressure testing status.
• Assess compliance with API, ISO, ASME, DNV/ABS, OEM, and industry standards.
• Identify risks, non-conformities, and deficiencies; propose corrective actions.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, operating procedures, risk assessments, and maintenance docs.
• Monitor closure of inspection findings and validate corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide readiness recommendations.
