Job summary

ULAN MIDDLE EAST CLEANING CONTRACTING SERVICES is seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, and repair rides and attractions. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure readiness of equipment through audits and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, preferably in amusement/theme parks or industrial setups.
• Relevant trade certification preferred; LOTO, rigging or hydraulic training is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.

• Execute pre-opening safety checks and operational testing on mechanical systems.

Job description

Conduct daily weekly and monthly mechanical electrical inspections of rides and attractions Perform preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication adjustments and component replacements Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in hydraulic pneumatic gear chain and belt systems Respond promptly to ride breakdowns and implement corrective actions to resume operations quickly Execute pre-opening safety checks and operational testing on mechanical systems Assist in third-party and internal audits ensuring documentation and readiness of equipment Conduct load and stress tests on ride systems to verify integrity and performance

Education:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical maintenance, preferably in amusement parks, theme parks, or industrial machinery environments.

Certifications:

Relevant mechanical / Electrical trade certification (preferred); training in LOTO, rigging, or hydraulic systems is an asset.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
