Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SET) to advance our software program lifecycle and collaborate with engineers and product owners. You will contribute to end-to-end testing and build automation frameworks for REST APIs and Web UI, ensuring quality across the software stack.

The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium, REST APIs, CI/CD, and SQL, with a strong understanding of the SDLC. Remote work is supported, and a Bachelor's degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software automation testing.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming, preferably Java.
• Experience with Selenium and Page Object Model.
• Experience with JSON and REST API.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, defect tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. NoSQL is a plus.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the maintenance and development of test automation frameworks for REST APIs and Web UI.
• Build and maintain tooling for test automation.
• Organize and run CI pipelines in Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Promote, influence, establish and execute testing best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA team to identify requirements and features.
• Write well-structured, high-quality, maintainable code.
• Perform detailed integration and end-to-end testing and ensure quality in all aspects of work.
• Automate as much as possible in the test cycle.
• Write technical documentation and design files.
