Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service
  2. Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through up-selling
  3. Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests
  4. Meet the needs of customers and inform them of the services offered
  5. Propose a response adapted to the needs of the customer
  6. Know the geographical and competitive environment of the establishment
  7. Present the Group's or brand's loyalty program
  8. Apply the procedures and policies defined by the brand and the hotel
  9. Versatility: perform Reception duties (Check-In & Check-Out) for the greatest pleasure of our customers and the team
  10. Guest registration and room assignment, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  11. Know cash handling procedures
  12. Have thorough knowledge of Front Office system, i.e., Opera
  13. Have working knowledge about reservations
  14. Have knowledge of handling telephone, internal and external calls
  15. Have full knowledge of master keys and Ving card system
  16. Handle check-in and check-out efficiently

Qualifications

  1. Guest-focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
  2. Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  3. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  4. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  5. Knowledge of the hotel industry
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team and sense of initiative
