Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a non-supervisory Resource Allocation Specialist in Doha to ensure fair and efficient manpower distribution across shifts in cargo and airport operations. You will align available staff and equipment with daily rosters and service level expectations, supporting operational shift management in a dynamic environment.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication to convey allocation decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with minimum 1 year of job-related experience.
• Experience managing operational resource allocation systems and rostering function in high-volume staff business areas.
• Time resource allocation systems and a high level of proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to swiftly adapt to dynamic changes during the shift.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate recommendations and adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources for non-supervisory positions and less complex ground handling tasks according to system rules.
• Confirm shift resource availability based on roster updates and monitor task demands.
• Execute resource allocation in three phases: pre-planning, shift-planning, real-time.
• Communicate allocations clearly and track progress of tasks.
• Collaborate with the Operational shift management team to respond to dynamic changes during shifts.
