Radio technician vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Radio Technician

As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various radio equipment to ensure smooth communication for our clients. Your duties will include troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, installing new equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks. You will primarily work on radio systems used in the maritime industry, but may also assist with land-based systems as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair radio equipment, including VHF, HF, and satellite systems
- Install new equipment and perform upgrades as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of radio systems
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex issues and complete projects
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance tasks performed
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in radio technology
- Follow all safety protocols while working in potentially hazardous conditions

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience working with radio equipment; experience in the maritime industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and ability to read schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical condition to perform tasks such as climbing ladders or working in confined spaces
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, along with benefits including health insurance, vacation time, and opportunities for professional development.
