Our client is a subsidiary of a well-established diversified business holding group who seek to recruit 2 x Project Managers to their Property Firm for a major high rise tower project in Doha valued at USD3B. This role will work specifically across the structural and finishing stages of the project as the project is currently under construction. There are a total of 8 towers with one Project Manager on each Tower.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the operations of all contractors and ensure all contractors are coordinating at the site level for finishing elements specifically.
2. Review, monitor and update the weekly submittal schedule report.
3. Review the accuracy of all contractors daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
4. Monitor site logistics arrangements; site security operations; delivery and storage of equipment and materials on site.
5. Assist the HSE staff to enforce environmental, health and safety standards at all times.
6. Proactively intervene to prevent delay and disruption; provide solutions to site coordination issues; monitor and record delays on deliverables from consultant and contractors.
7. Monitor the performance of the supervision consultant, and the compliance of contractors with approved method statements.
8. Expedite issues of NOCs and other permits and licenses.
9. Maintain log of all contractors major equipment on site.
10. Participate in the prequalification and selection of contractors.

Key Attributes:

1. Degree qualification in Construction / Engineering / Architecture or comparable experience considered.
2. 10+ years' experience with at least 7 years' experience on major commercial projects. High rise experience is essential.
3. Must be able to drive projects for performance results and display proven leadership abilities.
4. Major project experience essential (>USD100mill) required.
5. Candidates with expatriate experience, ideally in the Middle East, will be viewed favorably.
