Job Description Summary

Grid and Electrification Software related customer equipment, facilities or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. You will report to region Business Operations Director and will work in close cooperation with all Software (SWS).
2. Deliver operational results for the portfolio, with key business performance indicators including Orders, Sales, Billing, Margin, and Cash.
3. Manage customer relationships at multiple levels of their organization, providing a success delivery model.
4. Build strong relationships with SWS customers and business stakeholders.
5. Work closely with GEV leadership to investigate, analyze and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
6. Drive operational excellence and rigor on Fulfilment of metrics and quality to deliver process excellence.
7. Track performance in key areas such as EHS, customer satisfaction, productivity and talent development.
8. Be responsible for backlog, forecasting, pipeline and weekly financial tracker updates for SWS financials.
9. Understand trends and drivers, and effectively communicate risks, opportunities, changes, and key gap closure activities.
10. Own and drive a cash target (including inventory) and resolve key past due or collection issues.
11. Drive improvement through identification and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
12. Assist with short and long-term business planning (i.e. Op Plan, Growth Play Book).
13. Own Customer Playbooks and work with the local area sales team to develop retention, growth, risk, and fulfillment strategies.
14. Work with all functional and Products teams to explore growth opportunities.
15. Demonstrate EHS leadership and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented within the team.
16. Maximize cross collaboration between SWS team and other GEV teams.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a Science, Engineering, or Project/Business Management qualification.
2. Minimum of 10 to 12 years of Business experience, leading Operations and services and project Management with a strong technical knowledge of the SWS.
3. Minimum of 5 years of management experience with direct reports.
4. Customer success oriented, able to bridge each internal Milestones/delivery to a customer success and added value.
5. Profit & Loss (P&L) leadership experience, which includes short and long-term business planning.
6. Strong financial acumen including the management of revenue, cost, and cash Collection.
7. Monitor control & mitigate financial, technical, commercial risks & opportunities.
8. Rigorous and having a strong financial/operational discipline to drive the governance and the operational rhythm across his sub-region.
9. International operations experience in managing complex projects (including Turnkey projects and large SW projects).
10. Demonstrated improved operational efficiencies in Software and IT delivery Programs.
11. Technical capabilities in the SWS domain, enabling him to identify the technical challenges and Risks and opportunity.
12. Strong people leadership, able to lead a remote and multi-cultural team.
13. Effective communication skills addressing different audiences and influencing internal and external executive audiences.
14. Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships and networking at an executive level.
15. Contractual acumen.
16. Arabic speaking is preferable.
