Job summary
India Abroad is seeking a Product Designer to join our Ar-Ruwais team in the UAE. You will design and develop innovative products from concept to production, ensuring they are visually appealing and functional for customers.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field, proven design experience, and proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite. You will collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CAD software (such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into design concepts
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities for product development
- Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the final product
- Work closely with engineers and manufacturers to ensure that designs can be produced efficiently and meet quality standards
- Develop user manuals, instruction guides, and other supporting materials for the product
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on the product design and implement necessary changes
