A leading entertainment company in Doha is seeking an individual with 3–5 years of procurement experience. This position plays a crucial role in managing supplier relationships and supporting procurement transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in entertainment, cinema, F&B, or retail industries.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and best practices and vendor management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Understanding of F&B supply chain, equipment, and service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sourcing, tendering, and negotiation processes.
- Verify technical specifications and prepare tender documents.
- Analyze bids and prepare evaluation reports.
- Ensure contracts are awarded and executed in compliance with policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct performance reviews.
- Coordinate with Legal to draft and finalize contracts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sourcing, tendering, and negotiation processes (RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, tenders).
- Verify technical specifications, prepare tender documents, and coordinate supplier site visits.
- Analyze bids, prepare evaluation reports, and recommend supplier awards.
- Ensure contracts are awarded and executed in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve disputes.
- Coordinate with Legal to draft, review, and finalize contracts and amendments.
- Monitor supplier compliance with contract terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value-engineering initiatives.
- Perform price benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive procurement outcomes.
- Support the development of category strategies for Cinema F&B and Non-F&B categories.
- Assess and mitigate risks in supply chain operations.
- Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, and other business units.
- Provide advice and consultation on complex or urgent procurement requirements.
- Support procurement transformation initiatives and process automation.
