Foreground is partnering with a leading construction group in Qatar to identify a Procurement Manager who will oversee the sourcing and supply of materials and services for large-scale infrastructure and building projects. This role requires strong vendor management, cost optimization, and contract negotiation expertise, ensuring procurement aligns with project delivery timelines and budget controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement function, managing end-to-end sourcing, vendor prequalification, and contract execution.
  • Develop procurement strategies that ensure material availability, cost competitiveness, and quality compliance.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize value and reduce risk exposure.
  • Monitor supply chain performance, resolving bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Establish and maintain supplier performance evaluation and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams on procurement forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of procurement experience in the construction sector.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills.
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement standards.
  • Fluency in English required, Arabic preferred.
