Job summary

Ecojob is seeking a Chemical Engineer – Process Optimization Specialist to join our Lusail team in Qatar. The role focuses on identifying improvements to chemical manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and productivity.

You will analyze current operations, develop data-driven solutions, and collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams. English fluency is preferred; on-the-job training is provided in this part-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in process optimization within the chemical industry.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
• Knowledge of process control systems and data analytics tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Develop solutions to optimize process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and research & development to implement changes
• Utilize data analytics tools to monitor process performance and identify opportunities for further optimization
• Train and educate team members on new processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in process optimization techniques
