Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our Lusail team in a full-time role focused on process development. You will design and optimize chemical production processes, analyze data to improve efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new methods.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with at least 3 years of industry experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Aspen Plus or HYSYS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process development within the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new processes for the production of chemicals and related products.
• Conduct research and experiments to optimize existing processes.
• Analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient implementation of new processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices and procedures.
