Job summary

McDermott in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Senior Installation Analysis Engineer to enhance the Installation Analysis discipline and share expertise across teams. You will solve complex problems, advise junior staff, and ensure projects meet guidelines and budgets.

Responsibilities include leading FEED and detailed design, coordinating with multi-discipline teams, and providing offshore installation support when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of oil and gas construction and installation design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed design per design basis and standards.
• Lead and coordinate engineering teams on projects as Project Coordinator.
• Prepare design calculations, analyses, and technical reports.
• Provide engineering support offshore on installation vessels when required.
• Interface with disciplines, procurement, vendors, and customers to ensure compliance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering
