Job summary

KBR is seeking Pool Lifeguards for a Qatar site to ensure the safety and well-being of pool users, enforce safety rules, and provide first aid and CPR. The role emphasizes attention to detail and zone awareness to prevent life-threatening situations.

Required: secondary school pass, fluency in English, and three years of lifeguard experience in international hotels, clubs, or hospitality. Certifications in swimming/emergency rescue, first aid and CPR are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified lifeguard with current first aid and CPR knowledge.
• 3+ years of lifeguard experience in international hotel, recreational club, or hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool users at all times and enforce pool rules.
• Ensure safe pool use by children and maintain sanitation around the area.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to sanitize pool surroundings, toilets, and deck areas.
• Communicate unsafe activities and enforce regulations to prevent incidents.
• Administer first aid and CPR, rescue swimmers in distress when needed.
• Assist with crowd control and report safety concerns to QAFCO as required.

Title: POOL LIFEGUARD- (2 MALES & 2 FEMALES) Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! KBR is looking for POOL LIFEGUARD- (2 MALES & 2 FEMALES) for a client to be based on Qatar site. Responsible for the safety and well-being of the club members using the swimming pool and ensure smooth function in line with QAFCO safety procedure and swimming pool rules, enforcing safety rules, providing first aid and CPR, and performing rescues when necessary. Attention to detail is an essential lifeguard skill. Lifeguards must be aware of what's happening in their zones. They must recognize potentially dangerous situations and work to prevent life-threatening situations to help swimmers and patrons stay safe.

Experience & Education required:

• Shall be secondary school pass and possess fluency in English
• Shall have three (3) years of experience as lifeguard in International Hotel, Recreational club, or hospitality industry
• Course certificate in swimming/ emergency rescue, first-aid and CPR Pool and Beach Lifeguard awareness training certificate

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Always monitor the swimming pool users
• Ensure the children use the pool safely and in accordance with the swimming pool rules
• Checks the housekeeping and ensure the swimming pool surroundings, toilets, pool deck benches are sanitized after every use in coordination with housekeeping
• Communicate with swimmers of improper/ unsafe activities carried out in the pool and enforce swimming pool rules and regulations and water safety
• Ensure the behavior of pool users is maintained at a high standard and that unsafe behavioral issues with children are followed up effectively with Pastoral care and if necessary, report to the parents
• Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning,and administers CPR
• Managing Crowd Control
• Performs any other task as and when instructed by the QAFCO representative
• Checks on day-to-day basis the Vacuum suctions are closed for safety
