Job summary

Galfar Al Misnad Engineering and Contracting W.L.L. is seeking a Supervisor-Piping to oversee piping activities on our sites in Qatar. You will ensure IMS standards, HSE compliance, and effective QA/QC liaison while coordinating with project teams.

The role involves daily time-sheet entry, material management, and active participation in safety regimes. Negotiable terms apply based on experience and project scope.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising piping activities on major projects.
• Familiarity with IMS standards and HSE policies.
• Understanding of Permit To Work procedures and QA/QC liaison.
• Ability to manage materials, time sheets and equipment utilization.

Responsibilities

• Enter the time sheets for workers and equipment on daily basis.
• Inform PM about idling of equipment due to breakdown and lack of work front.
• Initiate inspection request, prepare quality records and forward to QA/QC personnel.
• Liaise with lab personnel for testing activities.
• Liaise with PM/CM/QA/QC personnel and clarify technical doubts.
• Control and minimize the wastage of materials and consumables.
• Analyze the output of manpower and equipment, work out the production target for each activity.
• Request for material from stores through MIS through Project Engineer.
• Thoroughly understand the Permit To Work system and ensure implementation.
• Act as a trustee of the company ensuring outstanding performance in all HSE matters.
• Ensure implementation of Company IMS Standards requirements in its true spirit so as to ensure meeting company objectives.
