Job summary

JobLeader in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team. The role requires at least 3 years in a pharmacy setting and a valid license to practice.

You will advise customers, check prescriptions for interactions, and manage inventory while delivering quality healthcare and customer service. We are willing to consider foreign applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science.
• Valid license to practice pharmacy.
• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, medication administration techniques and medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of prescriptions filled by checking for potential drug interactions, dosage accuracy and proper labeling.
• Advise customers on the usage and potential side effects of medications as well as provide general health advice.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of required medications and order new stock when needed.
• Provide guidance to pharmacy technicians on medication preparation, packaging and dispensing processes.
