Pharmacist – Doha, Qatar

The Pharmacist position in Doha is a critical role for our organization. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals as well as providing advice on the proper use of medications and potential side effects. The Pharmacist must adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies when dispensing medications.

The successful applicant will possess a degree in pharmacy from an accredited college or university, with additional certification or license where required. They must also have excellent knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology, as well as strong communication skills. A proven track record of customer service excellence is highly desirable, along with the ability to work well in a team environment.

The Pharmacist will be expected to provide professional advice on the administration of medication. This includes assessing the appropriateness of medication for individual patients, determining the dosage and formulation to meet patient needs, calculating drug dosages correctly and monitoring patient's drug therapies. The Pharmacist will also manage inventory control processes through effective stock rotation and ordering activities.
