Job summary

PPOAR in Ar-Ruwais, Pakistan, seeks a Petroleum Engineer on a contract basis to design production strategies and optimize oil and gas output. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to maximize recovery and improve well performance.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience, with strong English communication. This contract role includes accommodation and visa support for the selected candidate.

Petroleum Engineer - Contract Position (Ar-Ruwais, Pakistan)

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Ar-Ruwais, Pakistan. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to optimize oil and gas production. You will also conduct reservoir studies, analyze data, and provide technical recommendations to improve well performance.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industryStrong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, including simulation software (e.g. Eclipse)
• Experience with well completion design and artificial lift systems
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Pakistani nationality preferred
