Overview

Petroleum Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing processes and techniques to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs. This is a full-time position with urgent hiring needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and plan and supervise the drilling of oil and gas wells
  • Identify potential drilling sites, estimate reserves, and develop production plans
  • Design equipment and processes for extracting oil and gas from reservoirs
  • Monitor well production rates, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments to optimize production
  • Work with geologists to determine the best locations for well placement
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental laws
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop new drilling methods or technologies
  • Keep detailed records of all operations and production data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, production methods, and reservoir analysis
  • Proficient in computer software programs used in the industry such as Petra, Eclipse, or Petrel
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Effective communication skills in English (ability to speak Hindi is a plus)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
