Job summary

UCC Holding in Qatar is seeking a Payroll Taxation & Compliance Manager to lead payroll tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and ensure accurate tax calculations.

The role requires strong knowledge of SAP, payroll audits, and ERP systems, plus leadership to mentor the payroll team and collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience.
• At least 3 years in payroll taxation and compliance.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, payroll accounting, and compliance regulations.
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems and ERP platforms.
• SAP functional knowledge is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate payroll tax calculations in accordance with local tax laws.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure tax compliance.
• Monitor changes in payroll tax regulations and implement required updates.
• Ensure payroll tax mechanisms are automated within the payroll system.
• Oversee payroll accounting transactions, including EOSS, regular payroll, and off-cycle payroll.
• Conduct payroll audits and compliance reviews to identify irregularities.
• Verify monthly payroll earnings and deductions.
• Prepare employee CTC and payroll provision reports.
• Generate payroll reports and provide insights to management.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team.
