Job summary

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) invites applications for a part-time instructor in the English program. Reporting to the Head of the Department English, the candidate will plan, develop, and deliver course content within UDST's undergraduate English curriculum.

The ideal candidate has a Masters in a relevant discipline, at least 3 years of full-time higher education teaching, and excellent English communication.

Job description

Reporting to the Head of the Department English, the part-time instructor is ideally an experienced educator with creative and innovative teaching skills who can effectively plan, develop, and deliver course content in UDST s undergraduate English curriculum. The successful candidate will also be responsible for evaluating student progress, collaborating with faculty teaching teams, and managing resources in the learning environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Masters (or equivalent as designated and approved) in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accredited institution. A terminal degree in a closely related field may be considered.

At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in post-secondary, or higher education institutions

Exemplary verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English language.
