Job summary

BlueHorizon is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Lusail, Qatar team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be Indian and possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

You will maintain financial records, handle accounts payable and receivable, conduct month-end closings, assist in budgeting, analyze variances, ensure regulatory compliance, and support cross-departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records including accounts payable and receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
• Conduct monthly and annual closings
• Assist in budget preparation and analysis
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and variances
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to support business operations
