Job summary

Threshold invites graduates to join its Strategic Communications internship in Doha, offering hands-on experience in media monitoring, report creation, and drafting communications in Arabic and English.

This paid 6-month program provides exposure to digital, written and visual content, with mentorship and potential for a permanent role. You will work across client accounts from day one, learning to track media trends and support campaign materials in a collaborative agency environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, Media, Public Relations or related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong writing, editing and summarising skills with attention to detail.
• Good research skills and interest in media and current affairs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Exposure to design or content tools (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor local, regional and international media for client, industry and competitor coverage.
• Compile and produce clear, accurate media monitoring reports and coverage summaries.
• Draft communications materials in Arabic and English (media reports, talking points, statements).
• Support translation and quality checks between Arabic and English.
• Collaborate with the wider agency team on integrated campaigns across digital, written and visual content.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to support campaign materials.
• Track media and industry trends to inform client reporting and strategy.
• Support day-to-day account coordination, including timelines and deliverables.
