Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Consultant with 6 to 7 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials. The consultant will be responsible for finance module implementation, configuration, support, testing, troubleshooting, and business process analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business users to understand finance requirements and prepare functional solutions.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Financials modules based on business requirements.
- Handle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany processes.
- Configure and support Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Legal Entities, Business Units, Accounting Calendars, and related financial setups.
- Manage AP processes including supplier invoices, payments, prepayments, invoice validation, and payment processing.
- Manage AR processes including customer setup, billing, receipts, adjustments, credit memos, and collections.
- Support GL processes including journals, allocations, recurring journals, revaluation, translation, intercompany transactions, and period close.
- Support Fixed Assets processes including asset addition, transfer, retirement, depreciation, and reconciliation.
- Perform functional analysis, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user documentation.
- Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reports, interfaces, and data migration.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production activities.
- Analyze and resolve production issues within agreed timelines.
- Support financial reconciliation between subledgers and General Ledger.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
Required Skills
- 6 to 7 years of experience in Oracle Financials.
- Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Good knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Intercompany.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
- Experience with Oracle Financials implementation or support projects.
- Experience in requirement gathering, functional configuration, testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of OTBI and financial reporting is preferred.
- Good understanding of Oracle integrations and data migration processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
