An established industry player is seeking an Oracle EPM/Hyperion Consultant with robust techno-functional skills to lead enterprise-wide implementations. This role involves enhancing Oracle Hyperion and EPM Cloud solutions, requiring hands-on expertise in tools like EPBCS, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase. Key Responsibilities:
Implement, support, and enhance Oracle EPM (EPBCS/PBCS) and Hyperion Planning solutions
Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Develop and maintain Essbase cubes (BSO/ASO), data forms, business rules, and calculation scripts (Calc Scripts, MaxL, MDX)
Create and deploy reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, and Excel Add-ins
Manage metadata, perform data loads, and automate tasks using EPM Automate and batch scripting
Conduct user training, support UAT, and provide post-implementation support
Collaborate with Finance, BI, and IT teams for seamless integration and reporting
Perform tuning and optimization of EPM applications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion tools
Proficient in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, EPBCS/PBCS, and FCCS
Strong in Calc Scripts, MaxL, MDX, SQL, and shell scripting
Experience with Smart View, HFR, and EPM Automate
Solid background in financial planning and analysis (budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle EPM Cloud certification (e.g., Oracle Planning 2022 Certified Implementation Professional)
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance is a plus
Experience with public sector, retail, or manufacturing clients
Exposure to additional EPM modules such as Workforce, CapEx, Strategic Modeling, FCCS, TRCS
