Responsible for dispensing best-in-class optical and vision consultations at the location. Collaborates with the store manager and sales team to consistently achieve high levels of customer service and store targets.

Job Description

• Perform eye testing and prescribe lenses
• Dispense and sell optical frames, contact lenses, and sunglasses
• Check optical frames and contact lenses for accuracy and comfort
• Advise customers on eyewear options, optical lenses, and contact lenses
• Achieve sales targets related to optical frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, and accessories
• Support sales staff in daily transactions
• Manage in-shop inventory and place stock orders
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with eye care product suppliers' representatives

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry
• Preferably with a valid QCHP Optometrist practicing license; candidates meeting QCHP eligibility requirements may also apply
• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a retail optical setting
• Strong knowledge of lenses and eyewear products
• Understanding of vision disorders
• Familiarity with the latest vision correction equipment and techniques
• Computer proficiency
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
