The successful candidate should be able to perform eye exams and be knowledgeable about contact lenses, eyeglasses, and general vision care. They should also possess excellent interpersonal skills as they will be interacting with clients on a regular basis.

To be successful as an Optometrist, you must possess excellent communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and an eye for detail. You should have good hand-eye coordination to effectively carry out optometric tests.
