Job summary

YUTONG BUS Co in Doha seeks an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. You will diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

Ideal candidates have strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of powertrain and electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools. This is a full-time on-site role offering growth opportunities and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of powertrain, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficient with automotive diagnostics tools.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle problems using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension, and steering components
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and brake repairs
• Repair or replace shocks & struts, shocks, and other suspension parts
• Work on diesel engines, ADAS systems, air brakes, and electrical systems as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
